Relationship between average cost and item receipt routing

Hello,

When one material is received, if the receipt routing is “Standard”,  taxes of the invoice are adding on the item average cost. But, if the receipt routing is “Direct” the item average cost is without taxes.


Why the item cost change according to receipt routing? If the receipt routing is “Standard”, when  I can  consult the item average cost without taxes?
