CM 131. Vs SharePoint 2010

When I try to upload more 1 mb pdf file to SharePoint 2010 via CM 13.1.  We are getting Internal Server Error.  But excel and word documents are fine (even though the file size is more than 1 mb).   I would like to know anyone else experiencing this issue.
