Oracle 11i forms applications not opening up on IE8, JRE(1.6.0), Jinitiator(1.3.1.21), Windows 7 OS

Hi,I hope this is the right forum to express this issue, otherwise please advise the correct forum so I can post it there.

I have the following environment at my home, IE8, JRE(1.6.0), Jinitiator(1.3.1.21), Windows 7 Operating System. 

When I try to open the oracle forms applications(html opens ok) version 11.5.10.2, I get the following error message. Open R12 forms application on above configuration works fine.

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

However in the office oracle forms applications are opening up fine,version 11.5.8. Not sure what is the difference.
