Patching Solaris 11 Zones

Hello,

We are setting up Solaris 11 zones within a Solaris 11 global zone, one for Development, Integration, Test and Production.  My question is, does Solaris 11 allow us to apply Solaris patches to the non global zones for testing applications against the patches prior to applying to the next tier.  We want to apply patches to Development and test that tier prior to applying to the next tier.

This was not an option in Solaris 10, we had to patch the global zone first then all sub-zones would automatically be patched.
