Timecard has P status
A - There are timecards locked with a "P" status even though they have
not yet posted the journals. How can I make changes to the
timecards?
Q - A "P" status indicates journal entries have already been created (posted). This timecard is protected. If you are unable to reset the journal entry stage of payroll processing by using the Pay Cycle Review/Reset program, you can use a manual update program to modify the F06116 (Transaction Detail) file. You may want to select the F06116LA logical file to select by address number. You will need to clear both the GL Date (YTDGL) and Batch Number (YTGICU) fields. This will reset the time card and remove the "P" status.
