Exadata DB & Cell server imaging using preconf.csv file

i have heard i need to put the MAC address on that specific row in which i need to perform reimaging.

in which field i need to put the MAC and in which format?

for Cell Server there is a step of using IPCONF is it required if i use preconf.csv while making the Cell Image??
