Addition API : Tax Book with Accum Deprn

Hi - We are using the Addition API to add an asset to a tax book. In the API call we are also passing the accumulated depreciation and YTD depreciation numbers. We observe that they are not being considered by the API, is it intended funcitonality ??

Steps

1) Use Addition API to add an asset to CORP book by passing accum and ytd => results as expected

2) use the api to add asset to tax book by passing accum and ytd deprn , we notice only cost gets created as desired.

has anyone got this issue ?
