TOP RMAN 11G Issues

We have identified many reports of problems directly associated with the following two alerts:

RMAN backup fails with Assorted Errors on 11.2.0.2 if cursor sharing is enabled (Doc ID 1472116.1)
In RAC environment from 11.2 onwards Backup Or Snapshot controlfile needs to be in shared location (Doc ID 1472171.1)
