auto reverse criteria

Hello All
we have set up an auto reverse criteria on a particular journal category. if we then create a journal in ADI using that category and in ADI flag it as a non reversing journal, when it get reversed by the auto reverse criteria or will the non reversing flag in flag in ADI over ride the Auto Reverse criteria. We are on 12.1.2
