Query running fine first time, slow the next time...

We are migrating from 11.1.0.7 to 11.2.0.3 and are moving to a different server hosting company.

We have two queries which are running slowly on the upgraded version..

In terms of database parameters there are no differences between the two.

The explain plans does not show anything different..

One of the queries seems to run quicky when run the first time, but when executed again it takes long...

Why would a query do this, and what can I do to optimise/monitor....
