Check Printing - Fixed number of lines per page

Hi,

My check template has remittance on the top and check is at the bottm of the page. The remittance is to print 9 lines of remittance detail and then to print the check. If there is only one line of remittance then it should print one line and then skip 8 line before printing the check. I am unable to find a template that I could use to achieve this. Can you please suggest a stdandard check template to skip set number of lines before printing the check.
