Removal of Payroll Elements and Links

URGENT !!!

Hello.

I am trying to remove some redundant elements from the Payroll process.

I have tried to use the APIs available (pay_element_entry_api; pay_element_link_api; pay_element_types_api) to delete element entries, element links and elements themselves, but they jsu get so embedded that it is difficult to clear ALL releated details.

Is there one API that can be used to remove an element and ALL of its sub-details (links, link values, entries etc ...).

Any help greatly appreciated.
