Kowing the HCC will save the space, more interesting is impove the performance. HCC will add overhead on the DB operation such as backup/restore, data migration. So how to make the decision to apply HCC on which table, if we want to get performance impovement and space saving both. Can work out some decision rules or workflow for pick up objects from application running statistics for HCC in Exadata ?
