Sun storedge 3320 disk replacement with veritas

 hi Gurus,

I have sun v880 server with 3 sun storedge3320 JBOD.OS solaris 8,with veritas volume manager.one of JBOD disk Got failed,

The vendor replaced the disk, but it is not visible under Operating system. tried with devfsadm, cfgadm -al, drvconfig.

even tried reboot -- -r.  ,still same

Now Got a new disk , but still the same. Logged into jbod with sccli and put show disks, it is showing bad, later i put sccli> scan disk d0.13

so the bad disk become changed the state from bad to FRMT  as follows.

sccli> show disks
