Hello Gurus,

I am trying to install 10.2.0.4 on win 2008 server. I assigned an IP (192.168.10.10) which is already in use on the network (Win 2003 server), but i unplugged the cable from this server(win 2008). When i tried to install Oracle, it was showing error in network configuration. I checked it manually and started the installation. Then i did import from a dump file.

My Question is when i plug the network cable and deactivate the IP of other server (Win 2003), can i use the database installed in win 2008 server without any problem?

Win 2003 Server = (192.168.10.10)  - Deactivate after finishing import on win 2008 srv.

Howdy, Stranger!
