How to ask / force supplier to quote Lots or Group based peice while receiving Sourcing Quotation re

Hi Gurus,

Can you please advise on How to ask / force supplier to quote Lots or Group based peice while receiving Sourcing Quotation responses from suppliers ? I have seen in the sourcing negotiation style configuration has LOTS and GROUP control at the negotiation line level but could not find any documentation about it. Attached is the sourcing negotiation style configuration screen shot showing LOTS and GROUPS.

Any help will be highly appreciated.
