Asset Adjusted Cost not available for Source Line Transfer ( for spliting ) the Asset

Hi

We are trying to Split an Asset and are facing an issue with the cost.

Asset A was created with 1018.87 cost originally.

Cost Adjustement of $2686.11 was done sometime back and the total cost is now 3704.98.

We want to split this into 2 asset of 1852.49 each. We have created another asset asset with 0 cost in order to split. When we go to asset workbench we only see 1018.87  available for transfer where as it does shows on the top new cost of 3704.98.

Any idea why its doing it and how we can get to split the full adjusted cost.
