Configuration R12 URL link with Client Machine

Hi,

I am new for Oracle E-business Installation.

I have installed the R12 set up in Redhat Entrerprises Linux 4 using VMware and everything working fine in Server like application services,DB servies are started properly.

Now i am not able to connect the database & application in clinet machine.

TNS entries are placed in appropirate file for database - Client Machine

IP Address placed in drivers for application - Client Machine. i.e host file.

I have tested with ping command with ipaddress in command promt. It's not connected to the server.

Is require to set any settings in control panel.
