Regarding Creation of Standard warranties with variable Duration based on location sold.

Hi Team,

Below is my understanding :

IF there is a BOM item and we associate the warranty item to it, we know that upon shipment of BOM item  the standard warranty is created,

need clarification on the following:

Now assume we ship the item to customer in UK then we would need standard warranty of 1 yr. if we ship to Japan then we need standard warranty of 3 yrs created. location wise we need the ability to create varied duration warranty.

My understanding is , this isnt standard functionality in Oracle Warranties. Kindly validate. is there a work around (1> we can do standard shipment of Bom along with  selling  extended warranty at zero cost for additional duration.
