Purge Balances effect AutoCopy Budget performance

Hi,

 

We have large number of records in GL balance that effect on GL process performances like Auto Copy Budget and Upload Budget.

We ran Purge Balances for budget balances and ran again Auto Copy Budget.

We can see the Auto Copy Budget that ran before the Purge Balances for 4 hours, ran after the Purge Balances for 5 hours.

Isn't the Purge Balances supposed to reduce the run time of the Auto Copy Budget?
