Push keep Alive Timer

 Hi All,  How does Push Keep Alive fetch the Time details.... 

i.e when the Push keep alive driver sends the heart beat back to the server from the user i see that it always sends the data in GMT format, even though the application servers are all running in BST. How is it fetching date and time.. can some one throw some light across it.
