Inventory period closed, still have WIP not closed, will it effect the item cost ?

Hi,
I need confirmation since we already closed the Inventory period but we still have WIP with status not closed while ingredient already issue in the inventory, will it have any effect with the item cost of that batches ?

Please advice.
