"Missing Keystrokes" When Typing Characters into Popup Applets

This discussion is to share information pertaining to the “missing keystrokes” issue.

Users were experiencing lost keystrokes when entering data into a popup applet.

The Missing Keystrokes When Typing (Doc ID 1336081.1) addresses this problem, instructing the users to apply a Quick Fix for their specific Siebel version. 

In addition to applying the Quick Fix, a configuration change is required.  In Siebel Tools, the user must define an Applet Level User-Property (named 'DisableShortCuts') for the popup applet to disable the Windows Hook on that applet.  The property must be set to TRUE for the popup applet(s) where the issue occurs.
