Vote DISK configureation with ASM and 2 RAID sets.

Currently we are migrating to an ASM based configuration from raw volumes (Oracle 11.2.0.3).  This is on AIX(6.1).  Currently our cluster vote disk is on a concurent volume that is mirrored by the AIX volume manager to two raid arrays.  This eliminated a singel point of failure for Oracle's CRS because if access to one of the raid sets fails the volum manage maintains the vote disks voluem from the remaining set.

As we move to ASM we will no longer be using the AIX volume manager (we want to eliminate HACMP from our RAC environment if we can).  Howver, this leaves me in a quandry.  ASM, will want to maintain 3 copys of the vote disk with normal redundancy.   This would apper to make the loss of one of our raid sets a single point of failur for the cluster.  I would need to create 3 raw partitions on our 2 raid sets to support 3 failure groups.  It is my understanding that for the vote disk to be consided vailed

Howdy, Stranger!
