Install, Upgrade, Clone, Patch - EBS (MOSC)

Dear all,

               I have clonned copy of oracle r11i on sparc 64 machine and it is running with O.S solaris 5.10 with two users one for db and one for apps, Now I like to install another instance R12 on same machine. I have few confusion about this, Please guide me.

1)Does I can use both user of oracle cloned 11i for install oracle R12 , what is preffered way?

2)Does I can use same root direcotry for R12 installation, what is preffered way?

3)Does I need to update my pre-requisite according to R12 e.g Kernal parameters, RPM mean packages.
