Can we use different period types for MPA entry calculations.

Dear Guru's

We have implemented Multi Period Accounting setup. Here it is correctly taking the periods and amount, when we select the period type as Month.

But coming to other period types, like days, weeks and year, it is not considering the the number of entries as we required, it is still considering only month wise.

i.e. if i give 10 weeks, it is recognizing the payment in 3 months equally. if i give 30 days it is recoginizing the payment in 1 month. If i give 1 year, it is recognizing the payment in 12 months.

Is it a intended functionality. how Multi period accounting works. or do we have any fix for this. Please confirm me.
