User hook error message gives oracle error messages occasionally for SSHR (EIT requests)
I have created user hook for one of our EIT . The eit ("abnormal hour approval request") applying through SSHR contains a "date" field, "Type" field (attached LOV for types), "time from" and "time to" fields. End user needs two restrictions here.
1) The difference between time to and time from should not be more than 12 hours and when it occurs a corresponding error message should appear in screen and should stop there
2) A specific type (only) should not be applied by any employee more than twice in a month. and if so corresponding error message appear and should stop.
For this purpose I created Before Process user hook for the specific eit, registered and done all steps successfully. The user hooks give correct error message when we enter records into professional forms with the restricted conditions (ie, either difference between "to time" and "from time" more than 12 hours or a specific Type occurred twice in a month and entered the same type on same month.) The defined error messages in user hooks are appearing correctly.
