repeated Audit Log Minor in Exadata DB server regarding Open and Close session of Shell

hi,

i have observed the following Event Log in every Exadata DB server. this Open and Close session is happening in every 5 min.

78109  Audit  Log  minor  Sun Jul 15 09:31:46 2012  host_root : Close Session : object = "/SP/session/type" : value = "shell" : success 
78108  Audit  Log  minor  Sun Jul 15 09:31:46 2012  root : Open Session : object = "/SP/session/type" : value = "shell" : success 
78107  Audit  Log  minor  Sun Jul 15 09:26:44 2012  host_root : Close Session : object = "/SP/session/type" : value = "shell" : success 
78106  Audit  Log  minor  Sun Jul 15 09:26:44 2012  root : Open Session : object = "/SP/session/type" : value = "shell" : success 

would you please let me know the significance of this Event  and why its occuring so repeatedly.
