What is the use of the Credit Rating, Credit Classification, Risk Code etc

Hi All,Can someone please tell me what is the use of these fields at the Customer Profile Credit and Collection region?

Credit Rating, Credit Classification, Risk Code etc.

Can credit check processor take a decision based on these fields or they are just view only fields?
