Hello All,
Need a quick support regarding dataguard issue .
Database version is 10.2.0.4
OS: sun4u sparc SUNW,SPARC-Enterprise
Dataguard using DGBROKER
High Availabilty MODE.
Suddenly today there is an error reported on alert log: MRP0: Background Media Recovery process shutdown and logs on standby are not getting applied.
On alert log the error shows as:
ORA-01237: cannot extend datafile 250
ORA-01110: data file 250: '/ora/xxxxx/002/oradata/xxxxxxx/xxxxx_68.dbf'
ORA-19502: write error on file "/ora/xxxxxx/002/oradata/xxxxxx/xxxxxx_68.dbf", blockno 1654912 (blocksize=8192)
ORA-27063: number of bytes read/written is incorrect
SVR4 Error: 28: No space left on device
But when i check at OS level there is 8GB free space and at tablespace level there is 22GB free space. I added 512m additional space to that datafile on primary but to get that applied on standby first all previous files need to be applied.
