SEA to SIA upgrade

I have a question regarding the SEA to SIA migration.  We are upgrading 7.7 SEA to 8.1.1.9 SIA and I need to know some specifics around the custrep.dat and schema.ddl files.  For the production test upgrade you copy over the custrep.dat and schema.ddl files from the development environment to the production test environment before starting the prod test upgrade.  If I have already upgraded dev from 7.7 SEA to 8.1 SEA to 8.1 SIA, wont the custrep.dat and schema.ddl files be useless to bring over to the production test environment (custrep.dat and schema.ddl files will be SIA but prod test is still SEA)
