Pdf report drilling in 11.1.1.6.1 BIP does not open in new window

Hello All

We have an issue where the reports are drilled down from one report to another and the default format is set to pdf , the reports does not open in new windows.

Instead it overwrites the window of report 1 when a link in it is clicked.

When we use html format, the same does open in new window.

Is there a way to force the reports in pdf format to open in a new window.

In report properties - Open reports in new windows is enabled.

I have posted this under OBIEE community
