What is the significance of VSS LOG Backup?

Hello Gurus,

This is regarding the VSS backup types which Oracle VSS writer supports. According to the documentation, it supports LOG backup. From the documentation I could get that it backs up logs in FRA and in archiveLog_destinations. But, need to if we can add these components in FULL backup, why separate LOG backup? I want to understand the use case or benefit as you may call it to have a LOG backup of the database.
