Data Migration and Budget Close or Transfer to a New Project

Hi,

We are working on a client that has already projects and associated budgets created in Oracle Projects. These projects have been created manually in Oracle Projects.

The client want to interface (recreate) the projects from a third party system and close the existing projects.

What should be done with the Budgets already created against the project?

Is there any way to transfer the budget from the existing project to the new one transferred from the third party system?

What is normally done in this case?
