Backup controlfile at primary in 9i

Hi all,

   I have been used oracle data gurad 9i and configure catalog recover to store info about RMAN backups. I backup database at standby side.

   If I use this strategic, I can not backup controlfile . Assume that, I lost or corrupt all of controlfile at the primary => How I can restore control file ? Or if my recover catalog can not start => So Can I backup this recover catalog database and import it to other schema to continues use these info of RMAN backups ?
