Can i insert line in quote or sales order

 Hi all,

When we enter quote or sales order ,

example I enter 3 lines

1.1

2.1

3.1

I want to insert a line between 1.1 and 2.1, and the new line will 2.1,  2.1>3.1,3.1>4.1   is it possible to do that?

or can I split the line in quote but 2 different item for 1.1 and 1.2 ? I tired in quote but it doesn't allow me to split line , it said not allowed to split in negotiations phase

and sales order I can't do that either for 2 different item
