Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. How to use lpd (lpd://printserver/XXPrinter) printer for XML Publisher Report Bursting?

Hi,

I have requirement to access the EPSON Printer which is configured in CUPS with Line Printer Daemon (LPD) Protocol for XML Publisher Report PDF output bursting.

When i run the XMLP report Burst program is completed normal but no print is printed.

XMLP Version: 5.6.3

Application: Oracle E Business Suite 11.5.10.2

1) Is it possible to use lpd protocol printer for XMLP bursting?
