PO Cancellation Vs Re-approval

Hi All,

 

As per my understanding; the PO goes for re-approval if line(s) of the PO is cancelled & in this way it’s automatically informed to approver that some change(s) is made in the PO. While on cancelling PO; the approver is not informed. Is there any way to inform the approver in case of cancelling PO? Please guide. Also guide if a user can be restrict to cancel PO line(s) only not whole PO.
