Adding Customer Column Filtered Report

When I add Customer and Customer ID to my report, it filtered my report by removing all rows that had  "Unspecified" values under Region and I think also removed correspondiing Account Managers for "Unspecified". How do I make all these data display together? All these columns are available in the same subject area. What is causing these types of behavior when you add a column? Do I have to do combined analysis? Thanks for the help.
