Can forecast outside a project date range

Hello

This should be a simple one.  Just confirming that Oracle is supposed to allow forecasting outside a project date range.

For example, a project has an end-date (for both Target and Project)  of 31-Oct-2012.   Using both More4Apps and WebADI forecasting tools, I have been able to forecast out to December 2012.  I am using Project Management HTML screens (financial plans) to do the forecast.

I just wanted to confirm that this was an allowable functionality within Oracle Projects.
