Customer Account Merge not happening

Hi All,

When i am trying to merge two customer accounts i am getting a note msg which is displaying " A request to merge account 363274 with account 363274 has already been submitted.Please ensure that request is completed before you reselect account 363274". Here i am having  Merge-From customer account as "399525" and Merge-To customer account 363274.Please suggest how to proceed. I have verified that program "Customer Merge Batch" resulted in some error.Just wanted to confirm whether this is causing this issue now.
