How to generate dynamic hyperlinks using BI Publisher

Hello Experts,

I need to configure a html report in BI Publisher 10.1.3.4.2 that receives both the destination URL and the link text in the xml and renders it as a dynamic external hyperlink in the generated html.

I have followed the documentation provided at http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E10415_01/doc/bi.1013/e12187/T421739T481157.htm but this does not seem to work.

Please let me know how an RTF template should be configured so that these hyperlinks could be generated?
If the doc that I referenced below is the correct way of configuring dynamic hyperlinks then looks like it does not work.
