World Wide Name Syntax

Hello there,

at the moment I'm trying to find out if it would be possible to change the disk identification on our new Netra T4 machines from that World Wide Name Syntax back to the old logical names. Up to now I seem to be unable to find any search terms that would result in anything useful. We have a bunch of scripts depending on the old logical names; not only the do not work anymore, we would have to develop a whole new handling to generate machine independent vfstab entries .

Any ideas on that?
