Conversion of Asset Data from Legacy

When you convert asset data you input a cost and accumulated depreciation amount in the period prior to when you begin using peoplesoft.  The interface table creates an ADD line for the cost and accumulated depreciation with a gl distrib status of N.  Do you journal generate that information or does it sit in the tables as not distributed?
