How to change characterset in application node

Hi gurus,

Our EBS split into 2 nodes, 1 for database and the other 1 for application. Our application version is 12.0.6 and database in upgraded to 11.2.0.3.

Now we have a project to change the characterset, as of now I have manage to change the database characterset then recreate the context file and enable the preclone. My question is what are the steps i have to do to my application node so the application node can be sync with my database ?. And also how to regenerate the context file and environment file so next when i do cloning the application node has sync with the database.
