can I create oracle homes with my own choice of directory names ?

can i create using oakcli oracle home with names other than  dbhome_1/2/3 etc?for eg:  /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0.3/dbhome_peoplesoft

It becomes handy because you dont have to modify database scripts already written...
I read that oakcli has a "-oh" option..but that seems to only set the oracle_home name as reported by oakcli and not really create last part of directory name to my own choice of name...
