Grants accounting implementation - integration with Project contracts

Hi
I noticed on My Oracle support (webcasts) that a Grants accounting webcast was delivered recently by "Debbie Pegram" on June 12th 2012 ?
Would you be so kind to provide me with your advice ?
On page 7 of the presentation I can read that Project contracts is interfaced to Grants accounting but nevertheless on Page 34 it is written that Project contracts does NOT WORK with Grants accounting.  Based upon the registered voice it seems that it may be possible anyway with customizations and it is the case for a number of customers.
Could you please confirm/comment as we currently envisage a similar implementation scope in our public organization.
