AIX mixed version and Data Guard 11gR2.2

My hardware at my DR site is very old and at this point it is only good and offsite data repository (don't get me started on that one, budget cuts).  Our primary site is about to go through and OS upgrade to AIX 6.1 but my DR hardware is stuck at 5.2.  In previous version of Oracle the database and OS levels needed to match.  I have been reading up and found a references to 11g no longer needed a homogenous configuration but did not specifically see anything on OS differences for AIX. 
Does anyone know Data Guard will work if the primary is on 6.1 but the physical standby is on 5.2?
