How to suppress Inactive Activities from LOV for Asset Activity Association

Hi All

We have recently reorganized our PM Schedules and made a number of Asset Activities inactive, however, the Activities are still capable of being selected and associated to Assets.

We raised an S/R but were advised that it is working as designed, and that we could not supress the inactive activities from appearing in the LOV.

I wondered if other people have the same issue, and how they have overcome it?
