How do you enable "Return" functionality from a custom report built as a chart with drilldown capabi

When you drill down to a report from a chart type of report on a dashboard, you see the options "Return" appears in the lower left corner below the data being reported and clicking on it returns the user to the chart from which they initiated the report.  When I run an Oracle seeded chart type of report and click on a bar to drill down to the supporting detail, you see the options "Return - Refresh - Printer Friendly - Download".  Once again clicking on the word "Return" takes you back to the initial chart type report.  We have now
